About Us

Our Approach

I have a very nurturing approach when it comes to chorus. I believe everyone can sing, no one has a bad voice. We are all at different levels, and it is my job to get our voices to come together and sing!

Our Story

The Daniell Chorus was established back in 1965 when we opened our doors. We have a long-standing tradition of excellence in chorus. Students of ours have performed at the GMEA Allstate Chorus Conference, the ACDA Chorus Conference, District 12 Honor Chorus, and many more. In the past, we have gotten straight superiors at our Large Group Performance Evaluations.

Meet Mrs. Bennett (AKA Ms. Trotta)

This is Mrs. Bennett's first full year at Daniell after taking over the program in the spring of 2019. She is a graduate of Reinhardt University with a degree in Music Education - Vocal Emphasis. This is her third year as a music educator.

Mrs. Bennett has been in chorus ever since fourth grade. She has attended many District Honor Choruses, Allstate Chorus and Reading Choruses, performed at the Georgia Music Educator's Association twice, participated in the 65th Anniversary performance of "The Testament of Freedom" (words by Thomas Jefferson, music by Randall Thompson) and the 125th Anniversary Coca Cola Chorus, and performed with the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of the Georgia Music Educator's Association, American Choral Director's Association, and Mu Phi Epsilon.

Mrs. Bennett will officially be a Bennett come this fall. She lives at home with her husband-to-be and dog, Emma.
